Trimtraders No More Ply - SBR Primer is a Premium latex based waterproof primer.
It is used to seal the surface of No More Ply boards to improve the bonding strength of the tile adhesive. It helps to reflect heat which enhances the insulation value of No More Ply to make it better for use with underfloor heating. It provides a waterproof coating to make it ideal for use in wetrooms and bathrooms.
xIt can also be used as an adhesive additive for extra flexibility or as a general usage construction primer.

Can I use PVA instead of SBR Primer?
No, PVA is not a suitable product for priming any surfaces before tiling. PVA breaks down and goes back to a liquid form as soon as it comes in contact with moisture.
Can I use any brand of PVA to primer No More Ply boards?
The No More Ply tilers primer has been tested on No More Ply boards so we are 100% confident in it and this is the reason No More Ply can offer a life time guarantee. Although other SBR primers may be suitable we can not test every one therefore the No More Ply primer is the only one we can recommend with the No More Ply boards.
